Before KONNAKOL became the soundtrack to this chapter, its artwork gave Zquad a clue to follow: the snow leopard.

In the album announcement, Universal Music connected the animal’s presence on the cover to ZAYN’s South Asian heritage. The label also traced the imagery back to the endings of his Las Vegas shows, describing the cover reveal as the payoff to that earlier tease.

The visual story began onstage before fans had the complete album artwork in front of them. We’re filing that documented connection here, without adding extra symbolism that ZAYN or his label hasn’t confirmed.

Archive note: this revisits the February announcement, which named April 17, 2026 as the album date.
